Pasang AC Split, sekarang TIDAK BISA lagi dengan cara lama!
AC lama dengan R22 memakai oli Mineral Oil (MO), karena MO masih bisa melarut (menyatu dengan R22) untuk disirkulasikan kembali ke kompresor.
Pemerintah sudah melarang R22 di AC baru, sehingga pabrikan harus mengganti yang dipilih R32 jenis HFC. R32 tidak bisa melarutkan MO, sehingga tidak bisa membawa MO kembali ke kompresor. Untuk memastikan oli bisa kembali ke kompresor pabrikan mencari oli lain, pilihan paling baik polyolester (POE). R32 bisa melarutkan/mengikat oli POE dan dengan baik mensirkulasikan kembali ke kompressor.
Masalahnya oli POE ini “sangat hygroscopic”, sangat mudah/kuat menyerap air dan uap air dari udara.
Bandingkan tingkat hygroscopic keduanya:
MO : 25 ppm (part per million); oli untuk Refrigerant R22
POE : 2.500 ppm. Oli untuk refrigerant HFC, R410A, R32, R407C dll.
Kalau ada uap air dalam sistem pendinginan, oli POE langsung menyerap 2.500 ppm air!
Ini akan membuat lebih besar reaksi menjadi asam, membuat oli jadi jelly dan seperti lumpur. Tinggal menunggu waktu kapan enamel terkikis dan terbakar atau macet karena jelly, tergantung kondisi pemakaian. Jadi kalau masih dingin dalam 1 bulan 2 bulan, belum tentu tidak bermasalah, tinggal tunggu waktu!
Itulah sebabnya AC baru sekarang yang dengan oli POE, MUTLAK divakum, untuk menghilangkan udara dan uap air. Tidak bisa lagi dengan cara lama hanya “dijoss” atau air purging.
Beda olinya, beda ringkihnya.
Harapannya lebih banyak teknisi sadar dan disiplin melakukan yang benar, VAKUM.
